River Boat Days
The 2026 Riverboat Days are coming to town once again this summer from July 1st to August 24th. The events are hosted by the Marietta Washington County CVB. We spoke with Marketing Director Shannon Beacham for more. "Riverboat days are events we have in Marietta that we have excursions, uh, cruise lines that come to Marietta and visit for the day, the morning, the afternoon. And then we have visitors get off the boats, and they go into Marietta shops, restaurants, and to our attractions. So we have the American heritage and the American melody coming this year." There are a total of 15 stops scheduled from the boats this summer. Each boat carries around 100 to 200 passengers who get to experience Marietta. Half of the stops this year are morning stops that last from 6 Am to noon; the other half are overnight stops that last from 1 PM to 6 Am the next morning, making Marietta one of the premier stops on the cruises. Community members can view the boats while they are docked in Marietta and can view the dates and times of the cruise visits on the Visit Marietta, Ohio Facebook Page.
