The Mid-Ohio Valley Sports Hall of Fame is now accepting nominations for the induction class of 2026. Nominations are available for anyone in the area who excelled in an athletic field in any facet. We spoke with Mollie Schramm, the President of The Mid-Ohio Valley Sports Hall of Fame, about who can be nominated.

Nominees of any age are eligible for election this year and will be selected by the board of the Mid-Ohio Valley Sports Hall of Fame.

 "You know, we're looking for those top-tier coaches who have the credentials, the athletes who have after high school or had excellent high school careers and went on to do more, either in college or professional. So there's not really a specific age," Schramm said.

Schramm encouraged anyone who believed an athlete, coach, athletic supporter, or official who was not in the hall of fame but was exceptional in their field to be nominated.

You can find the nomination form and eligibility requirements online at midohiovalleysportshalloffame.com. Forms can be downloaded for printing and mailing, or completed online and submitted. All nominations must be in the Hall of Fame's possession by Feb. 28. The 2026 Hall of Fame class will be announced April 30th and will be honored with an induction banquet on July 25th.
