Brava has announced that tickets for the 11th BrAva Mom Prom will go on sale on March 1st. This year, the prom will be moving to the Tower Conference & Event Center. The prom will happen on Friday, April 17th. BrAva Vice President Erin Roberts talked about the evening

The Event is for women who are 21 and older. All ticket proceeds go towards funding childhood cancer research. Since 2011, BrAva has given back more than $ 700,000 to local families affected by childhood cancer and to CureSearch, a national organization focused on childhood cancer treatment research. 

 We seem to have a somewhat high prevalence of childhood cancer in this area. Unfortunately, we don't have facilities here and hospitals here that can offer the full oncology treatment schedule that most of our BrAva kids need. So in addition to just, you know, the overall worry and stress of worrying about your child who is suffering from an illness, parents around here have the added stress of trying to figure out how to travel to different facilities for scans, tests, medical treatment, simple blood draws."

They will also be using a new ticketing platform, Humanitix, this year. Tickets will cost $ 50 per person. Admission tickets will be the only tickets on sale on March 1st. On March 8th, people can purchase raffle tickets and luminaries for the night.
