The Marietta Kawanis Club is hosting its 70th annual Pancake Days event on Friday, February 6th, and Saturday, February 7th. We spoke with Marietta Kawanis Club President-elect Carrie Barth about this year's event.

The silent auction headlines the event, along with the new Big Ticket Event. Barth Said,

"We also have a big ticket raffle with some big items this year. We're having a beautiful Ohio State Charcoal grill, flat screen TV, and a switch to, we are also really excited this year, we're going to have a pair of Meta Ray bands in that raffle."

Tickets are available for the event at mariettakawanisclub.org/pancaketickets, at any Kawanis club member, or at People's News on Putnam Street for $10, and tickets at the door are available for $12. Barth explained the hours of each event,

"The hours on Friday are 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM and 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and on Saturday, there'll be 7:00 AM to 1:30 PM and 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM. And at the end of that six o'clock hour, we'll be wrapping up our silent auction, our country store, and raffle."

The menu features all-you-can-eat pancakes, 2 pieces of sausage, and an orange slice, along with additional items available for purchase.
