School Bus Grant
371 schools, districts, and county boards of developmental disabilities across the state will be awarded a total of $ 10 million. The funds come from School Bus Safety Grants awarded by Governor Mike DeWine. Washington County had four school districts that received funds. Four School Districts in the county received a combined 105,020 dollars. Marietta City Schools will receive 35,991 dollars. Wolf Creek received $33,346, Warren Local received $30,683, and Fort Frye will receive $5,000. The grants are for safety upgrades to buses and the addition of advanced safety features on new buses according to Ohio Govenor Mike DeWine's Office
