The Memorial Health Foundation hosted a Masquerade Ball themed Fashion show on Friday, April 10th. This year, there was a phenomenal turnout. Jennifer Offenberger, the Associate Vice President of Service Excellence, shares more.

"Wonderful evening. It far exceeded our expectations. We sold a thousand tickets, had a thousand attendees, all there celebrating cancer survivors and raising a record number of dollars to support cancer patients."

With the help of 1,000 attendees, the ball was certainly profitable.

"It was a record-breaking year. Uh, it was almost $164,000 raised. And all of those dollars go to our cancer patients, uh, whether they need help with transportation or um, some of the care that is provided to them."

Offenberger explains how the Memorial Health System directly supported this event.

"We have providers selling tickets during the evening and raffles. We have, um, multiple teams who work to put this on for our community, our cancer patients, and we all really just rally together as family, neighbors, uh, healthcare providers and advocates to really make this a powerful event."

Individuals highlighted a piece of themselves and shared their journey.

"The, um, fashion show portion features local models who are facing or have courageously faced cancer. And so each of them bring kind of their own story to the runway and it's very personable. It's very moving because they get to share, uh, the process they're going through or have gone through. They show their strengths."

While this night was outstanding, the Memorial Health Foundation is always open to donations.
