Update on Shooting Victim in Parkersburg
According to the source, the victim's brother stated that he accidentally fired the weapon while he was cleaning it.
The victim was taken to Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg, but was later air lifted to a to a hospital in Morgantown. The victim has reportedly had two surgeries since the incident occurred.
WMOA News will not release the names of those involved out of respect for the family during this difficult time.
