Marietta Main Street is working to raise a minimum of $100,000 through a combination of matching funds, corporate contributions, and private donations.

The "Give Big, Help Small" online-giving campaign will be held from June 12th-June 14th to raise money for relief of Marietta's downtown business community.

Marietta Main Street says, despite businesses reopening, most have lost two months or more of much needed revenue and will continue to experience a decline with a loss in foot traffic throughout the summer due to event cancellations, decline in tourism, and more.

Main Street is seeking $50,000 in sponsored money to support their Give Big, Help Small giving event, which will support their new Downtown Small Business Relief Fund.Sponsors will receive marketing and promotional opportunities for their support of Marietta's downtown business community.

This new fund of Marietta Main Street that allows downtown allows downtown owners to apply for funds of up to $3,000 to fit the needs of the business.

Applications will be made live for submission on Friday, June 12th, which again, is the first day of the Give Big, Help Small campaign.

All applications can be submitted via email at mariettamainstreet.org.
