MARIETTA, OH- 25 high school students from the Appalachian region spent the week in Marietta in the Makerspace at Building Bridges to Careers. STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math and a STEAM camp took place recently brought on by the Governor's Office of Appalachia.

The students stayed at Marietta College through the week.

Student led programs and workshops are also taking place. The programs are created by students from Washington County Schools.  This Friday July 29th, Middle School and High School Students can participate in a talk regarding mental health and how students can help with mental health and being leaders in schools.

Building Bridges to Careers is also preparing for the 10-year anniversary celebration.  This will take place in August at the Shrine Club in Marietta.
