Fatal Crash in Reno

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is currently investigating a one vehicle crash in Washington County.  Yesterday Morning around 9am, Kaitlyn Barton, age 18, of Marietta reportedly lost control of her Toyota Corolla and slid off of County Road 375 and struck a fence followed by a tree.
 
Barton was reportedly transported from the scene to marietta Memorial Hospital and later flown to Grant Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.  24 year old Chad Cokeley, of Parkersburg West Virginia, was a passenger in the car.  He was also reportedly transported to Marietta Memorial Hospital by the Fearing Township EMS.  He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
 
The Washington County Coroner Dr. Kenneth Leopold has ordered an autopsy and the crash remains under investigation.
