Road Work and Closure Advisory's for Week

On Tuesday October 13th, the 300 Block of Scammel Street will be closed to allow crews to remove a large Sycamore tree.
Work should be completed by the end of the work day but may continue through Wednesday, October 14th.
The City of Marietta 2015 Citywide Paving Project will begin on Thursday Oct 15, weather permitting. Milling will start that day, with paving beginning on Friday and concluding on Saturday.
The streets included in the 2015 Paving Program are Julian and Waldo streets, then moving onto Ferguson Street from 4th to Matthews, 3rd Street from 816 3rd to Marion, and 7th Street from Tupper to Wooster and ending with Walker Street.
No Parking signs will be posted 48 hours in advance of the milling and paving schedule.
The Marietta Wastewater Department will be making sanitary sewer repairs at 908 Colegate beginning October 14th .
One lane of traffic may be restricted at times to allow for excavation, equipment, and material access.
Signs will be posted. Repairs are expected to be completed by Friday October 16th. Please drive with caution.
