Marietta High School is ready to bring the Mary Poppins Musical to the community this weekend. The show dates are March 20th and 21st at 7:00 PM, and March 22nd at 2:00 PM. Kalis Bigley, a senior in this year's production, shares more.

"Mary Poppins is a family friendly show that's about finding yourself and finding family in the most unlikely places."

Bigley talks about her character's role.

"This year I'm playing the Bird Woman, which is a part of kind of all of the magical things that happen throughout the show. Her character is about remembering to staying to stay kind, and remembering to always take a look around to what's around you. And she has a very pretty song that she gets to sing with Mary."

The cast has had 3 full months to prepare. Tickets can be purchased at the door, through the MHS choir Facebook page, or on the MHS music website. 

 "We have so many exciting numbers I think that anybody of all ages will enjoy, especially because it's such a classic."

Attending the show not only supports the students but also the program's future.
