So the year was 2005.  The Philadelphia Eagles and the New England Patriots had a great season leading up to the Superbowl and it would come down to just three points separating the two when the clock hit zero.  The Eagles struck first after a scoreless first quarter and then the Patriots took the lead and never lost it again.  The final was 24-21.

Before that though, at halftime, the dozens and dozens of production team members wheeled out an enormous stage to center field, hundreds of people who payed more got to go out and surround it and Sir. Paul McCartney took the stage for the extended halftime show.

Paul didn't have any dancing sharks or wardrobe malfunctions and he didn't jump off of the top of the stadium but he layed out a great show for over seventy eight thousand people.

Check it out here.
