
Washington State Community College is proud to announce the introduction of Choral Society, a new course beginning this fall quarter.
Choral Society is a one-credit hour course open to registered students with enrollment also available to non-student community members for a small fee.
Well-known area choral instructor Michael Dunaway will be directing the class. Dunaway has been instructing choirs in the mid-Ohio valley for 18 years including at Marietta Middle and High School, as well as Shenandoah High School.
Activities during the class will include site reading, vocal warm-up, studying different musical theories as well as learning songs for performance in concerts.
Choral Society begins September 13 and will be on Mondays from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Graham Auditorium on the Washington State campus.
