Ohio State University President E. Gordon Gee and Senior Vice President Joyce Beatty will take faculty and administrative leaders on a tour of Marietta high school this morning to see first-hand the reach and impact that teaching, research, and service have on communities and residents across the state.
President Gee first initiated the Roads Scholars Tours in 1997 and since then nearly 800 new faculty members have traveled to all parts of the state to better understand how OSU’s partnerships improve lives and strengthen the state’s economy.
This year’s Roads Scholars Tour includes visits to the university’s South Centers business incubator and extension center, Ohio University, the Appalachian Community Center Network in Pomeroy, The Wilds, Octagon Earthworks in Newark and the Ohio State Newark campus.
