A suspicious package found at Washington State Community College this week did not pose a threat of immediate danger to anyone according to Washington County Sheriff Larry Mincks.

He said the package was identified as being suspicious because it was not sent by the person on the return address label.

Few details are being released at this time while the package undergoes forensic testing.

Mincks said his department has identified persons of interest in the case.  More information should be available within a few days.
