
The American Cancer Society helps female cancer patients with its Look Good…Feel Better program. Guided by a volunteer professional cosmetologist, women who participate in this class learn how to use makeup and skincare techniques to overcome the appearance-related effects of chemotherapy and radiation.
Look Good…Feel Better will hold its next session on Thursday, August 19 from 12-2 p.m. at the Strecker Cancer Center, 809 Farson St., Unit 101 in Belpre. Classes are open to all women undergoing cancer treatment. Look Good…Feel Better Ò is sponsored by the American Cancer Society in partnership with the National Cosmetology Association and the Personal Care Products Council.
