Amanda Dever was recently chosen to remain at Marietta College over the next academic year as an AmeriCorps VISTA  Campus and Community Collaboration Leader.

VISTA is a national service program in which volunteers live in the communities they serve, designing programs that will continue after they complete their service.

Dever’s role is to promote a positive relationship between the College and the larger community through coordinating service activities and finding student organizations to meet various needs. In her short time at Marietta College, Dever has led the campus-wide effort to fight hunger in the community.
