Curators at the Ohio Historical Society are beginning a new series of blogs this week entitled “The Top 10 Most Embarrassing Moments of Ohio History.”

 The blog will highlight some of the quirky, awkward and sometimes humorous moments in state history.  Submissions were accepted from the society's curators who then voted on the submissions in order to create the list.  The moments will be unveiled one at a time, starting with 10 and counting down to the top pick for the “Most Embarrassing Moment of Ohio History.”

 Topics will include a military blunder, a near national disaster and an infamous prison break to name a few.
