
The Volunteer Action Center in Parkersburg is offering a workshop featuring Glenn Ray, author of the new book Tons of Stone Above My Head.
The workshop will be held on Wednesday March 17, from 9-11.
As a coal miner/supervisor, Ray learned some very practical leadership skills in dealing with people. In the workshop he will address are employee orientation - how to transmit the culture, values, expectations of your organization to a new employee; developing models for teamwork, and identifying personal goals for success with your work and life.
The cost is $25 and includes a meal and all materials. Glenn's book will be available for sale.
