Following the return of secret indictments by the Washington County Grand Jury, Detectives of the Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Bureau took four individuals into custody pending their initial court appearance.
Ronald and Suzanne Selser both of Bear Run Road, Reno, are charged with three counts of trafficking in hydrocodone, a Schedule III narcotic; the sales occurred on three separate dates in October and November 2007 and in January 2008; all charges are fifth degree felonies.
Additionally, Rebecca Longwell of Fourth Street and Corey Smearman of Cullen Road were both arrested for two counts of trafficking in hydrocodone on two separate dates in August and September 2007, for trafficking in clonazepam, a Schedule IV narcotic, in August 2007, and for trafficking in codeine, a Schedule III narcotic, in August 2007; all four sales took place in the vicinity of a school, making them fourth degree felonies.
Smearman was also indicted on fourth and fifth degree felony charges of trafficking in marijuana for selling the drug in August and October 2007. The October transaction also took place in the vicinity of a school.
