(MARIETTA, OH) - As we previously reported a couple of months ago, Hupp Bridge on County Road 76/Cats Creek Road—about two-and-a-half miles north of State Route 60--is scheduled to be replaced.
We now know exactly when that replacement project will begin.
Washington County Engineer Roger Wright says the bridge project will start next Monday (June 23), and he expects the work to last three to four weeks.
The section of County Road 76 stretching from Vanfossen Road to Perry Road will be closed during the bridge replacement, so you may need to find an alternate route if you regularly travel that area.
