Downtown Halloween Parade, Party Saturday
Posted on: 10/23/2013
By  Andy Rex
The Marietta Noon Lions Club is preparing for the arrival of little ghouls and goblins this Saturday, for the annual downtown Marietta Halloween parade.
The parade chair is Sara Bonnette, who says they’ve been conducting these parades for more than 30 years.

According to Bonnette, “Kids should be in the parking lot at Third and Butler (streets) by 11:30. Costume judging starts at 11:40. Then at noon we have a police car and fire truck escort that leads us down Third to Putnam, then on Putnam to Muskingum Park. Kids do need to take part in the parade in order to participate in the ‘party in the park.’”
The parade is intended for children age 18 and younger - no pets and no politicians.
