Absentee Voting Schedule, Precinct Changes for General Election Available Here

The Washington County Board of Elections has announced the absentee voting schedule for the November 5, 2013 general election. It starts on Tuesday, October 1.
 
Also, there have been several precinct consolidations around the county. The correct voting locations are listed below.
 
Information provided by elections director Tara Hupp:    
 
Absentee voting hours are as follows:  
 
Tuesday, October 1, 2013 to Friday, October 4, 2013 -  8:00 am to 5:00 pm
 
Monday, October 7, 2013 to Friday October 11, 2013  - 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
 
Monday, October 14, 2013, Columbus Day - The Board of Elections is closed.  
 
Tuesday, October 15, 2013 to Friday October 18, 2013 - 8:00 am to 5:00 pm  
 
Monday, October 21, 2013 to Friday October 25, 2013 - 8:00 am to 5:00 pm  
 
Monday, October 28, 2013 to Friday, November 1, 2013 - 8:00 am to 5:00 pm   Saturday, November 2, 2013 - 8:00 am to 12:00 pm  
 
Monday, November 4, 2013 - 8:00 am to 2:00 pm (Absentee Voting will end at 2:00 pm.)  
 
The voter registration deadline to vote for the 2013 General Election is Monday, October 7, 2013. The Washington County Board of Elections will be open from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm on Monday, October 7, 2013.
 
The Washington County Board of Elections office moved on August 12, 2013. The present location and new address:

The office is located in the rear of the Childrenís Services building. (Davis Avenue extends east from Muskingum Drive/SR60, from adjacent to ODOT's District 10 Headquarters to Marietta High School. -mc)   
 
Please note the following polling place information:  
 
Belpre 4B precinct was consolidated into the Belpre 4A precinct. All voters who voted in the Belpre 4B precinct will now vote in the Belpre 4A precinct which is still located at the Belpre Church of Christ, 2932 Washington Blvd., Belpre.  
 
The Lowell and Adams precincts have been consolidated into one (1) precinct called Lowell/Adams. The precinct is still located at the L-A Volunteer Fire Dept., 223 Lock St., Lowell.  
 
The Little Hocking North and Little Hocking South precincts have been consolidated into one (1) precinct called Little Hocking. The precinct use to vote at the Little Hocking Elementary School on Federal Road. They NO LONGER vote at the school. Little Hocking Precinct now votes at the Porterfield Baptist Church, 39 Hollywood Drive, Little Hocking. 

The Rockland West precinct use to vote at St. Ambrose Catholic Church. They NO LONGER vote at St. Ambrose. Rockland East now votes at the Porterfield Baptist Church, 39 Hollywood Drive, Little Hocking.  
 
The Decatur precinct use to vote at the Full Gospel Church in Decatur. They NO LONGER vote at Full Gospel. Decatur now votes at the Cutler Community Building,4550 Two Mile Run Rd., Cutler. 

The Matamoras and Grandview precincts have been consolidated into one (1) precinct called Matamoras/Grandview. The precinct used to vote at the Village Building in Matamoras. They NO LONGER vote at the village building. Matamoras/Grandview Precinct now votes at the New Matamoras Public Library, 101 Merchant St., New Matamoras.
 
The Newport Upper and Newport Center Precincts have been consolidated into one (1) precinct called Newport. The Newport Precinct continues to vote at the Newport Community Center at 38330 State Route 7, Newport.
 
The Beverly Precinct and the Waterford B Precinct have been consolidated into one (1) precinct called Beverly/Waterford. The Beverly/Waterford Precinct continues to vote at St. Bernard's Catholic Church, 309 Seventh St., Beverly.
