Last Tuesday, the shelter announced it was completely full,
and put out a special plea to the public to adopt or foster dogs in order avoid
tragic consequences.
According to the shelter, sixteen dogs were rescued, adopted
or fostered in just three days.
As of yesterday, the shelter had 26 dogs available and,
although the shelter now has "some breathing room," the humane society still hopes
to find good homes for more dogs.
The shelter is open 12-5 PM Monday through Friday; 10AM-4PM
on Saturday.
