If you have an old computer, TV or other electronics you need to get rid of…now’s your chance.

The Southeastern Ohio Joint Solid Waste District is conducting an electronics collection event. It began on Monday and continues today and Wednesday, 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., at the former county garage, 1405 Colegate Drive, Marietta.

There is no limit to the number of computers, monitors or accessories you can bring in. That includes cell phones, VCRs, power supplies, surge protectors and more.

There is a limit of two TV sets, and no appliances or microwaves will be accepted.

A current driver’s license or vehicle registration will be required for proof of residency. Residents and businesses in Washington, Morgan, Noble and Monroe counties can take part in this computer and TV collection event.

For more information call the Solid Waste District in Caldwell at 740-732-5493 or go to wasteabate.org.
