The American Coalition for Clean Coal Energy has a high tech mobile classroom is touring the country this summer, currently at the Ohio State Fair.

The Coalition’s Senior Vice President Evan Tracey describes the interactive vehicle to WMOA News.

“Basically it’s a rolling, learning center on coal and coal-based electricity and, specifically, clean coal technology. It’s really a future and current look at what’s going on with coal-based electricity,” explains Tracey.

He says Ohio is an important state to the coal industry. “It get’s almost 80 percent of its electricity from coal…we’ll be touring this all summer long going to various events and state fairs, and we thought Ohio was a great place to visit. We’ve been here in the past and I know we’ve had over a thousand people tour it so far.”

The Clean Coal Energy mobile classroom will be at the Ohio State Fair through closing day this Sunday.
