
Two were arrested for drug trafficking in Beverly, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
On Thursday night, agents from the major crimes task force purchased sixty Percocet pain pills from 23-year-old Stephon Hite, of Circleville, near Fort Frye High School.
Following the purchase, officers stopped the vehicle Hite was in, driven by 19-year-old Jennifer Stout, of McConnelsville.
Hite was found with twelve additional pills, as well as muscle relaxer pills and marijuana. Under questioning Stout alleged to receiving the pills from her mother, who would split the proceeds with her.
Hite was arrested on felony charges of drug trafficking in the vicinity of a school and drug possession. Stout was arrested for a felony of complicity in drug trafficking. Bonds were set for Hite and Stout and seventeen and half thousand and fifteen thousand, respectively.
