Posted on: 01/26/2012

Gasland, an award-winning and controversial film documentary on the effects and issues of hydraulic fracturing of natural gas wells, will be shown tonight at 7:00 at the Alma McDonough Auditorium on the Marietta College campus. Gasland received the Special Jury Award at the Sundance Film Festival last year.

Then, on Tuesday, Jan. 31, also at 7:00 p.m. in McDonough Auditorium, the college will host a public forum on fracking. Four experts with a variety of expertise and opinions will discuss the issues. There will also be an audience Q&A session.

Seating for both events is free but limited to the first 150 people at the door.
