National Athletic Trainers' Association President-Elect to Speak at Marietta College

Tory Lindley, Northwestern University's associate athletic director, and head athletic trainer is speaking to classes at Marietta College on Thursday, October 26th, and Friday, October 27th. Lindley is the president-elect of the National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA), and he will serve a three-year term beginning in 2018.
 
Lindley has served as Northwestern's Head Athletic Trainer since 2002, and in that capacity, supervises NU's staff athletic trainers and sports performance coaches. The 2011 Illinois Athletic Trainers' Association Hall of Fame inductee has received numerous awards for his work and leadership, including the 2016 Great Lakes Athletic Trainers' Association Golden Pinnacle Award, the association's highest honor.
 
He will make a presentation to students in the Athletic Training program at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, October 26th in the Athletic Training classroom in the Dyson Baudo Recreation Center. On Friday, October 27th, Lindley will discuss psychology and rehabilitation with the rehabilitation class at 9:00 a.m. and then have brunch and give a lecture with an FYS class at 10:00 a.m.
