Marietta McDonald's to Host Half Marathon Event

On Sunday, October 8th at 8 a.m., the city of Marietta will present it's second annual "Marietta McDonald's Half Marathon Event", feating a half marathon, ten kilmeter, five kiometer and one mile race. For the first time, all races start and finish inside the Don Drumm Stadium. Each race has a walking or running option. We recently spoke with Brian Anderson of McDonald's of Marietta about how you can participate in this event, and ways you can benefit both your own health and community.
You can register
online, and paper applications are available at Marietta McDonalds', Healthy Start, the Marietta YMCA and On the Run and Walk in Parkersburg. Applications are also
downloadable. All proceeds will benefit the Marietta Aquatic Center.
