Next week in Washington County, an asphalt repair project will begin on US-50 from September 27th and 28th 2017. Transportation Administrator Rick Venham states that hopes are high to complete the project in one day, but the extra day is scheduled just in case things don't go as planned.

The work is taking place on US 50 East to the US 50 East ramp. Though thankfully for drivers the area will only be closed during daytime hours, specifically 7:30 a.m. To 3:30 p.m.. The detour is from the US 50 ramp to SR 339 South to SR 618 North to SR 7 South and to US 50 East.

For more information, you can call the ODOT District 10 Public Information Officer Ashley Rittenhouse at (740) 568-3904 or the office's Transportation Administrator Rick Venham at (740) 568-4470.
