Rural Development Roundtable

Today in Marietta, U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown convened a roundtable discussion with some southeast Ohio stakeholders to discuss the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Rural Development programs and efforts to encourage economic development in rural countries.
The roundtable discussion was hosted by the Buckeye Hills Regional Council and participants included leadership from the Buckeye Hills Regional Council, Rural Communities Assistance Program, and local government and community leaders. This is one of several rountable discussions Brown's office will be hosting around the state as work begins on the 2018 Farm Bill.
