Cuts to Ohio's Largest Pension System

The Ohio Public Employees Retirement System is looking at a couple of different options including limiting the cost-of-living to it's current cap of 3%. Freezing the adjustments between one to five years of lowering the 3% cap. Director Karren Carraher says that they are considering the changes while the pension fund is healthy. Carraher says that the considerations are in the early stages, and retirees should not expect immediate changes. The process will remain open and public.
