Norwood UMC to offer free Thanksgiving Dinner

MARIETTA, Ohio (November 22, 2016) - A local church is making the final preparations to provide a service of gratitude for the community this Thanksgiving. Norwood United Methodist Church will be serving free Thanksgiving dinner from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, November 24.
 
The menu will include turkey or ham, potatoes and gravy, green beans, stuffing, a roll and pumpkin pie.
 
The phones will be manned to take orders through Wednesday, November 23, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Orders are limited to six meals per household. Take-out orders will be available for pick up at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, and local deliveries will also be made. Call (740) 374-5606 to place orders.
 
Any volunteers who would like to help deliver meals are asked to meet at the church at 9:30 am on Thanksgiving Day. All other helpers are needed at 11 a.m.
 
Norwood United Methodist Church is located at 23 Colegate Drive in Marietta.
