(Marietta, OH) -- The two men wanted in connection with a series of thefts from convenience stores in Washington and Wood Counties have been captured in Kentucky.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office says Lexington, Kentucky police were patrolling a high crime area this morning and observed a 1985 Ford pickup parked at a Wal-Mart. A check on the truck showed it was stolen from Washington County.

Police then arrested 43-year-old Raymond Floyd Goodwin and 22-year-old Raymond F. Goodwin on warrants of felony robbery and theft from Washington County.

They had been identified as suspects in a theft from the Devola BP last week and from the Dalzell Carryout on Wednesday.
The two men are being held in Lexington pending additional charges.
