Wayne Nation Forest 11th Annual Artifact Identification Day

Wayne National Forest will be holding their eleventh Annual Artifact Identification Day on October 24th from 9am to noon at their Headquarters.
 
Hopewell Culture National Historical Park, and Ohio University's Departments of Anthropology and Geological Sciences will be at the event.
 
The public is invited to bring artifacts and fossils to the Forest Headquarters Welcome Center on U.S. Route 33, three miles south of Nelsonville where a team of professional archeologists and paleontologists will help identify items brought in by participants of the event.
