Marietta College Police Department Gets New Sergeant

(MARIETTA, OH) - After five years with the Marietta College Police Department, Kimberly Settle has been promoted to sergeant.
 
Marietta College Police Chief James Weaver says Settle has been an outstanding officer ever since she joined the force in 2010 and has developed a rapport with the campus community.
 
Settle is also an OPOTA instructor and serves as one of the college's ALICE and RAD instructors.
 
Prior to coming to Marietta College, Settle worked in law enforcement at Hocking College, the Nelsonville Police Department, and the Southeast Regional Jail in Nelsonville.
